Project factfile
Project Summary The Watermarking project proposes a moveable ‘Dragonfly’ bridge which would be used as a focus for riverside events traveling around the region’s waterways. The idea behind the project focuses on the one aspect which unites the region- the extent and variety of water within the area. It will unite communities and positively exploit the major natural resource of the region’s waterways without leaving a damaging permanent imprint on the landscape. The innovative design of the bridge would ensure its arrival would be an event in itself.
